Great Outdoors - DG450
The Great Outdoors DG450
This is a grill built by CFM in Canada before they went out of business a few years back. It was sold mainly at Walmart. I found this one in the Little Rock area. It is light but well built and solid. It can work for years with some care.

Remove the grids, warming rack and flame tamer. You may have to manipulate the rods on the warming rack and give the flame tamer a twist to get it out.
To get the burner out, you will have to get the bolts unscrewed that hold it from the grill bottom. Since your
burner is rusted, the screws won't screw out. You may have to twist the bolts off, or grind the heads, to free it.
Pull and twist the burner to get it out. The electrode wires have to be disconnected from the ignitor under the control panel.
The DG450 burner pulled
If you have to remove the valve assembly you will have to pull the knobs. They're just held by compression.
The valve manifold is connected to the control panel by the screws at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions. The other two screws hold the stem flange to the valve. DON'T remove them!
The hose-regulator will also have to be removed. An open end wrench is better for this.
There are two screws on each side of the control panel. You might be able to rotate the control panel
enough to get the assembly out by removing the bottom screws on each side of the panel.
The valve assembly removed
I oiled the valve stem flanges with machine oil to reduce rusting between the steel flange and the brass valve. This could prevent the valve from freezing!

Hang onto your screws carefully as you take it apart. Check your gas connections for leaks carefully and test the grill before using the grill. If you get stuck get some help or call a technician!!!
